SSF-IQue 68P (Charcoal Colour) Not recommended for double or triple pane glass facing the sun. (For double and triple pane use SSF-IQue 78FG below.) Can help SLASH your energy bill! SSF-IQue 78FG (Hint of a green tint just like glass) Safe on all glass. 1.5 Mil thickness IR rejection is +75% Side-by-side, the 68 is a more neutral(charcoal) color and 78 has a hint of green color(like glass). Optical clarity for both is excellent. In terms the 10% difference in vlt, the eye can barely tell the difference.. It is specifically engineered to be a near-clear film. Highlighted features include its low reflectance, high VLT, and high TSER numbers in relation to VLT. It is not mirror like and it does not increase the impairment of seeing out at night. TSER= Total Solar Energy Rejected; many incorrectly refer to this as "heat rejection" Regular window films including tinted and reflective films will not reject this much of the sun's heat. Only IR films are capable of rejecting heat to this degree. (No pun intended) VLT= Visible Light Transmission, how much visible light is passed through the glass. Not a security film or safety film. |
